Solar Flare was commissioned by Santa Clara University for their new Edward M. Dowd Art and Art History Building in Santa Clara, CA. and installed in April of 2017.
It is constructed in 3 sections of laser cut and powder coated welded forms bolted together and clad with exterior panels that differentiate between the inside form and the outside form by allowing each layer to have a different color.
